We just enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship with the good people at Cedar Square Friends. The people there have always been a big supporter of Second Chance Bluegrass and we are thankful for the friendships and continued support that is sent our way. The Spirit was wonderful, the congregation was so welcoming, and the "tators" afterwards was some of the best ever. Thanks again to the folks down at Cedar Square.

What a year!

What a year for Second Chance Bluegrass. It has been a journey to say the least. We have had many great concerts and events that we were blessed to be a part of. Second Chance had the oppritunity to be on stage this year with some of the very best in bluegrass and bluegrass Gospel in the business. God is simply so amazing to us. We were able to go to Kentucky twice and be with Tommy and Jill along with some of the finest people that we have ever met. The many new friends that we have been introduced to are absolutly a blessing to us. We have heard story after story of how our ministry has changed peoples lives. That is what Second Chance Bluegrass is all about. That is why our music is Gospel. It tells the good news of Jesus and His grace through song. Sure in some of our non-church concerts we throw in a traditional bluegrass standard or two but the ministry of our group is sharing the love of Christ to all who hear us.
To all of our friends, followers, and families we want to say from all of Second Chance Bluegrass we love each and everyone of you. Thank you for your support and prayers. As we look to 2011 the bookings are already coming in. We are hoping to produce another CD project in early 2011 so there will be more chances to spread the good news.
As I close this blog I will be back on later to update things and keep everyone posted on new dates and anything that goes on with us. Please check back often and tell someone else about our website. Finally we want to wish each and everyone of you a very Merry Christmas and a great New Year. See you in 2011.

Jerry Tysinger

Thank you to all who came out and supported us at Prissy Pollys last night. We had a wonderful time singing and ministering to all who came. Thank you to our faithful supporters and welcome to our new friends that we met last night.
We were also very pleased to have John Wolfe join us last night on the fiddle. He adds so much to Second Chance when he can make it. Again thank you John.
We also want to encourage everyone that can to go support Prissy Pollys BBQ in Kernersville. These folks have supported Second Chance Bluegrass for several years now and have scheduled two dates for 2011 already.

We just finished a wonderful Sunday of singing and worship. Sometimes all we can do is sit back and say Awesome. God blessed us with two wonderful services that we could be a part of. Old Fashion Day Sunday morning was such a joy to be a part of. Thank you Lighthouse Baptist Church for remembering the Old Fashion ways of Preaching, singing, and Praising the Lord. Then came Sunday night.

Just when we thought Sunday could not get any better God allowed us another wonderful time in His presence. Thank you to the Pastor and congregation of Safe Harbor Baptist in Salisbury for opening up your pulpit to Second Chance. We were able to sit back and enjoy the testimonies and then share our own with the church. Again thank you for being so kind and warm to Second Chance Bluegrass.
